We give you yardage and cutting instructions for those fabrics which are used in larger quantities. But, for the cute applique details, we instruct you to look at the templates, the photo, and Diagram I and personalize this quilt by choosing fabrics from your stash. Do It! 1. Trace Templates A-X on paper side of paper-backed fusible web. Cut apart, leaving small margin beyond drawn lines. Following manufacturer's instructions, fuse to wrong side of appropriate fabrics; cut apart on drawn lines.

2. Finger-press assorted cream print 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" squares in half on both length and width; use folds as placement guide. Referring to photo, position template fabrics. Following manufacturer's instructions, fuse in place to make Applique Blocks in quantities shown. Applique edges by machine or hand (Diagram II) using buttonhole stitch.

3. Arrange and sew 4 rows using 2 assorted red print and 2 assorted white print 2 1/2" squares each, alternating colors. Sew rows together to make Sixteen-patch Block (Diagram III). Make 12 total.





4. Referring to Assembly Diagram, arrange and sew 5 rows of 5 blocks each. Sew rows together. Sew 2 strips using 10 red print and 10 white print 2 1/2" squares each. Stitch to sides of quilt. Sew 2 strips using 11 red print and 11 white print 2 1/2" squares each; sew to top and bottom of quilt.



5. Layer and baste quilt top for quilting method of your choice. Angelyn machine quilted a meander on the pieced blocks and the background of the appliqued blocks. Bind quilt with red/white stripe fabric
