Baby Spool Doll Pins Pattern

1 - 14mm wooden ball
4 - 1/2" wooden wheels
6 - 3/8" x 1/2" wooden spools
2 - 2" x 3" material scraps
14" piece of twine
10" piece of twine
thread/needle
6" piece of ribbon
pinback
glue gun
black & red paint
toothpick

Body:
Fold 14" twine in half to form body. Tie knot at fold. Slide twine through ball(head). Tie 10" piece of twine under head to form arms. Tie knot 3/4" from base of neck to create the legs. Slide one spool then one wheel on each arm and knot the ends. Slide two spools and then one wheel on each leg and knot ends.

Dress:
Place wrong sides of material together. Using a gather stitch, sew across the top of the material half way across. Plase dress under the neck and continue to sew the other half. Gather the dress under the neck. Stitch sides under the arms to form arm holes.

Face:
Create face with two black eyes and red heart mouth. Tie ribbon on around waist for a bow and glue on pinback.
