Continue joining yo-yo's until you have the width desired. The second row of yo-yo's will begin being joined in loops 1-4. (When joining a yo-yo in four places, work 7 ch-3 loops on the yo-yo, then join to each of the 4 indicated loops.)

Join the second yo-yo of the second row in loops 1-6. (When joining a yo-yo in six places, work 5 ch-3 loops on the yo-yo, then join to each of the 6 indicated loops.)

Join the third yo-yo of the second row in loops 1-6.

Continue joining yo-yo's until you have one less than the first row. The third row of yo-yo's will begin being joined in loops 1-2

Join the second yo-yo of the third row in loops 1-6.

Continue adding yo-yo's to the third row as you did for the second row. Join the first yo-yo of row 4 to loops 1-4. Continue in this pattern until the afghan is the desired length. Edging: Using size J hook and main color, work 2 sc in each unjoined ch-3 sp around the outside of the afghan.
