Crochet Candy Cane and Wreath

Materials:
Any size hook
small amounts red or green yarn
For candy cane: use red
For wreath: use green

DIRECTIONS:

Ch 52, 3 dc in 2nd ch from hook and each chain thereafter letting it curl as you work. String wire through the ornament to shape the "curl" into candy cane shape or fasten ends together to form wreath. Decorate with ribbons, holly, etc.

VARIATION:

Ch 35, 2 dc in third ch from hook. 3 dc in each ch remaining. Fasten off, leaving 2 or 3 inches for tying the two curls together. Make 1 red and 1 white. Wrap around a pipe cleaner and bend to form shape of a candy cane.

For the wreath follow the same instructions except make 2 green curls.

Add a bow to the candy cane or wreath if desired. (ch 50 with white and tie into bow)
