Apple Ornament

Materials:
1/2 to 1 inch strips of fabric and a "K" hook
small amount 4 ply worsted wt yarn red and green

Instructions:
Round 1: ch4 and join with a slp st

Round 2: 2 sc in back loops of ea ch (don't join rnds but mark with safety pin)

Round 3: 2 sc in ea sc around

Round 4-5: work even

Round 6: 1 sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc,(1 sc nxt sc, 2 sc nxt sc) rpt from( )

Round 7-8: work even

Round 9: sc in first sc, (dec over sc, 1 sc in next sc) rpt from ( )

Turn apple inside out and stuff with fiberfill (scented makes a nice sachet)

Round 10: sc in first sc (dec over nxt sc, 1 sc in nxt sc) rpt from ( )

Stem
ch6

sc in second ch from hook and in all remaining ch of stem, drop stem color

Leaf
pick up leaf color

ch 8

1 sc in second ch from hook, 1 sc in nxt ch, 1 hdc in nxt 2 ch, 1 dc in nxt 2 ch

join to beginning ch of stem with slp st, cut and tie off yarn

attach to apple with fabric glue

Cherry Ornament

Materials:
4 ply red, green, and brown yarn
"G" hook

Instructions:
Round1: ch4, join with a slp st to beginning ch

Round 2: 8 sc in middle of ch 4 "circle" (don't join rounds mark with a safety pin)

Round 3: 1 sc in first sc, 2 sc in nxt sc rpt around

Round4-5: work even

Round 6: sc nxt 2 sc, dec nxt sc,rpt around (turn cherry inside out and stuff)

Round 7: sc in nxt sc, dec nxt sc rpt around (cut and tie off yarn)

Leaves (will look kind of like a figure 8)
ch 10

sc in second ch from hook, dc in nxt 2 ch, sc in next ch, skip nxt ch, and sc in nxt ch dc in nxt 2 ch sc in nxt ch, (should be last ch) ch 1 and work around free loops on ch, sc in freeloop of nxt ch, dc in free loops nxt 2 ch sc in nxt ch, skip nxt ch, sc in nxt ch, dc in nxt 2 ch, sc in last ch. tie off

Stem
insert hook through skipped ch of leaves and pull stem color through ch 10 (or however long you want your stem to be); sc in second ch from hook and in all remaining ch of stem; join to skipped ch of leaves with slp st; cut yarn and weave in; attach to cherry with fabric glue.

Pumpkin Ornament

Materials:
1/2 to 1 inch fabric strips

pull up green yarn ch4

join to beginning ch of stem color

ch3, 12 dc in middle of ch 4 "circle"

join to top of beginning ch 3

attach to pumpkin with fabric glue
