Christmas Ball 12 Ornament

MATERIALS:
Size I hook
2 colors 4 ply worsted weight yarn
fiberfill.

SIZE: 4" across

DIRECTIONS:

With Color A, ch 3, join to form ring.

Round 1: Ch 1, 8 sc in ring, join to beg sc, end off. (8 sc)

Round 2: Join Color B in any st, ch 2, hdc in same st, 2 hdc in each sc around, join to top of beg ch 2, end off. (16 hdc)

Round 3: Join Color A in any st, ch 1, 2 sc in each hdc around, join to beg sc, end off. (32 sc)

Round 4: Join Color B in any st, ch 2, hdc in same st, hdc in next st, [2 hdc in next st, hdc in next st] 15 times; join to top of beg ch 2, end off (48 hdc) Note: Don't end off after you complete the 2nd circle.

FINISHING: With wrong sides together join the two circles together through any st, ch 1, sc the two pieces together, stopping before completing the last 3 sc to stuff the ball with fiberfill. Complete final 2 sc and join to beg ch 1 st. Ch 10 and join to beg ch 1 st (to make loop), end off.
