Materials:
Size # 10 Thread
Size 6 or 7 hook
Gauge is not crucial pin will just be smaller or larger.

Instructions:

Head
Rnd 1: Ch 2, 12 sc in 2nd from hook. join.

Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc. join.

Rnd 3-8: sc in each sc. join.

Rnd 9-10: Dec around. Stuff after rnd 9. Finish off leaving enough thread to sew head closed. Sew head closed.

Wings (Make 2)
At the end of the second wing DO NOT FINISH OFF.

Row 1: Ch 2, 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook. turn

Row 2-5: Ch 1, sc in same st.(ch 3,sc in ch 3 sp) across to the last ch sp ch 3 sc in last sc. turn.

Row 6: ch1, sc in same st (ch 3, sc in ch 3 sp)across to next to last ch 3 sp, ch 1 hdc in last loop to form last loop. turn.

Row 7: ch 1, sc in same sp ( ch3 sc in next ch3 sp) across to last ch 3 sp,ch 3, sc in last sc. Finish off only on first wing. On second wing DO NOT FINISH OFF. Do Edging.

Edging
Ch 1, sc in same st(5 dc in next ch3 sp, sc in next ch 3 sp) Repeat once. 5 dc in next ch 3 sp,sc in next sc,( 2 sc in next 2 ch 3 sp) Holding first wing wide end up against the wide end of 2nd wing 2 sc in first chain 3 sp, 2 sc in next ch 3 sp and next sc (5 dc in Next ch 3 sp, sc in next ch 3 sp) repeat once. 5 dc in next ch3 sp, sc in sc and across up to starter st. 3 sc in starter sc across to next wing starter st 3 sc in starter st. sc across. join in 1st sc.

Sew head in center of wings securing well. Stiffen and glue hair on (whatever variety you prefer), add a halo (Gold chenille stem works well) to head and a pin back to the back.
